Regional Director – Financial/Wealth Management


Location: Wisconsin or Illinois


Compensation: $250,000 – $400,000 (base + performance-based incentives)



Our client is a high-performing financial and wealth management firm seeking a Regional Director to expand and lead their presence in Wisconsin, Illinois, and surrounding states. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in growing markets, building strong teams, and elevating advisor performance through hands-on support, coaching, and recruiting.

What You’ll Do:


Market Growth & Strategic Expansion


  • Drive expansion efforts across WI/IL and a multi-state territory
  • Build and execute a regional growth strategy that aligns with national goals
  • Forge partnerships that increase visibility and revenue



Leadership & Culture Development


  • Coach and mentor financial professionals across the region
  • Foster a culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and long-term success
  • Support existing teams and develop new markets with intention



Recruiting & Retention


  • Lead advisor recruiting efforts for both experienced and early-career professionals
  • Prioritize cultural fit and long-term alignment over short-term volume
  • Partner with internal recruiting to deepen talent pipelines, including DEI efforts



Advisor Enablement & Client Excellence


  • Support the firm’s comprehensive financial planning model
  • Help advisors deliver high-value client experiences using innovative tools and technology
  • Champion advisor growth while encouraging ownership and independence



Ideal Candidate:


  • 7+ years of leadership experience in financial services, wealth management, or related fields
  • Strong track record of recruiting and mentoring commission-based financial professionals
  • Passion for developing people, building culture, and growing markets
  • Licensed with Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health (or willing to obtain quickly)
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in entrepreneurial environments



Compensation:


  • Total Compensation: $250,000 – $400,000 (base + performance-based bonus)
  • Includes a multi-state territory with light travel (approx. once/month)
