Compensation $80,000-$90,000 base plus bonus


Overview:


Our client is seeking an Investment Specialist (Senior Associate) to support the implementation and execution of the firm’s investment strategy. This role partners closely with Lead Advisors and the senior investment team to ensure investment philosophies and portfolio strategies are clearly understood and effectively implemented across client accounts. The position requires a strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, and the operational processes that support a wide range of investment account types.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee implementation of investment strategies for both prospective and existing clients in collaboration with Lead Advisors and the operations team
  •  Manage client portfolios, including trading activity such as rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, liquidations, and contributions
  •  Support ongoing portfolio management and ensure investment strategies are executed accurately and promptly
  •  Conduct research and analysis to support the firm’s investment philosophy and portfolio construction
  •  Provide data and insights to the senior investment team to assist in the development and refinement of model portfolios
  •  Partner with Lead Advisors to ensure they understand and can effectively communicate the firm’s investment offerings to clients and prospects
  •  Serve as a subject matter expert on investment platforms, including ENV2, NetX360, and the CAIS Alternatives Platform
  •  Execute and support self-directed brokerage trades, including proper use of order types and trading best practices
  •  Maintain awareness of financial market trends and developments that may impact portfolio strategy and investment decisions



Ideal Candidate:


  • 4+ years of experience in a wealth management or investment management firm in a similar role
  •  Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
  •  Colorado Health & Life license required
  •  Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, and investment account structures, including brokerage, advisory, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments
  •  Experience executing trades and supporting portfolio management activities such as rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting
  •  Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
  •  Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with advisors, investment teams, and operations professionals
  •  Advanced proficiency with wealth management platforms and investment technology tools
  •  Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
