Apply for this job

Compensation: $90,000–$115,000 base + bonus

About the Opportunity:

Our client is an established and growing wealth management practice seeking an experienced Service Advisor to work closely with the lead advisor and help manage and deepen existing client relationships.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to be more involved in financial planning, but does not want the pressure of building their own book of business.

The Service Advisor will act as a second chair to the lead advisor, participate in client meetings, prepare financial planning work, identify planning opportunities, and own client follow-up and ongoing service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a second chair to the lead advisor in client meetings
  • Participate in and lead client service and review meetings
  • Prepare financial plans and planning materials for client meetings
  • Gather and analyze client financial information
  • Help identify planning opportunities based on client needs and goals
  • Support planning conversations around retirement, investments, insurance, cash flow, and other areas of a client's financial picture
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients and serve as a trusted point of contact
  • Prepare for client meetings and own follow-up and next steps
  • Support new client onboarding, account opening, asset transfers, and ongoing service requests
  • Coordinate with the lead advisor and internal team to resolve client needs
  • Maintain accurate client information, meeting notes, and follow-up within the CRM
  • Proactively make sure client needs and deliverables stay on track

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of wealth management, financial planning, or financial services experience
  • Series 7 and 63 strongly preferred
  • Experience working directly with clients in an advisory or relationship management capacity
  • Some experience preparing or contributing to financial plans
  • Comfortable participating in client meetings and eventually leading review meetings
  • Strong understanding of wealth management and financial planning concepts
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Life & Health Insurance License is a plus

Why This Opportunity?

This is not a business development role. There is no expectation to bring a book of business or prospect for new clients.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the client-facing side of wealth management but also wants to be hands-on with financial planning. You’ll work closely with an experienced lead advisor, build meaningful relationships with an established client base, and continue developing your planning and advisory skills within a growing practice.
