Employment Type: Full-time, hybrid schedule

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000

Position Overview:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Associate to join the firm's growing planning team in Raleigh. This role is designed to support the planning department and offers incredible career progression opportunities depending on skillset and goals.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the first point of contact for new clients once scheduled, gathering essential financial data and introducing them to the planning team.
  • Collect and organize information from both new and existing clients in preparation for Advisor meetings.
  • Enter and maintain client data in CRM and firm systems, ensuring accuracy and proper file management.
  • Assist by initiating investment paperwork, life insurance applications, and related processes.
  • Support Planning Leads by handling service work and building strong client relationships through consistent communication (phone, email and Zoom).
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment while adhering to established processes.
  • Use firm software/technology including proprietary systems, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Slack, OneNote, and planning software.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Financial industry experience a plus but not required.
  • Life & Health Insurance and Series 7 licenses (or ability to obtain within first 6 months).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); comfortable speaking with clients by phone or virtually.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Service-minded, coachable, and a strong team player.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.



Compensation & Benefits:


  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $70,000, based on experience and licensing.
