Job Description
We are part of a European-based network and provide technical record specialist services to lessors who own and lease aircraft engines. Core functions include the review of supplied documentation, ensuring compliance with OEM, airworthiness standards, and customer requirements. The job requires liaising with lessors, customers, technical consultants, and colleagues in Germany, as well as managing all supplied documentation, maintaining various IT systems like the Asset Transfer System (AirVault), and generating standardized outgoing marketing sales documents. Our work demands high levels of awareness, attention to detail, short response times, and knowledge of maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and airworthiness legislation.
Overall Responsibility
- Management of engine short-term, operations lease, and lease pool induction engine documentation.
- Creation of Lease Return Discrepancy Reports.
- Creation and management of documentation file structures.
- Creation of asset projects and maintenance of records in various databases (Electronic Asset Transfer System).
- Updating various record systems and weekly tracker reports.
- Attending and participating in weekly conference calls with stakeholders.
- Reviewing customer-supplied documentation for accuracy and communicating with customers and outside parties to resolve open paperwork issues.
- Reviewing an aircraft engine’s current and historical paperwork.
- Reviewing documentation for Lease Pool Induction Engines, including Back to Birth (BtB) reviews of Life Limited Parts.
- Communicating with external vendors to resolve issues with LLP documentation.
- Liaising with customers, technical consultants, stakeholders, and internal departments to compile Marketing Sales Document (MSD) packs.
- Proofing and amending documentation to complete MSD packages.
- Interpreting Original Engine Manufacturer’s manuals and service documentation to review life-limited cycle restrictions on LLPs being analyzed.
- Staying updated on critical airworthiness directives relevant to the role.
- Using specialized computer databases for engine/component records.
- Assisting engineering and Back to Birth teams as dictated by customer demands.

- Aircraft or aircraft engine knowledge is an advantage.
