• Your work directly shapes employee support, accuracy, and compliance.

• You will run the upcoming Open Enrollment cycle from start to finish.

• You will operate with a high level of ownership and visibility across HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and vendor teams.

What you will oversee

• Daily administration of all U.S. benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSAs, HSAs, wellness, and retirement.

• Workday Benefits leadership, including eligibility design, life event processing, dependent verification, payroll deduction accuracy, and ongoing HRIS integrations.

• Complete Open Enrollment readiness, testing, communication, and vendor alignment.

• All leave programs including FMLA, ADA, parental leave, disability, and state leave requirements.

• Escalations for complex leave and benefits cases.

• Vendor relationships, performance reviews, issue escalation, and service accuracy.

• Compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and state-level laws.

• Routine audits of eligibility, billing, deductions, and system data, including reconciliation and corrections.

• Employee-facing support, guidance, and questions related to benefits and leave.

• Updates to documentation, educational materials, and benefits communications.

• Workflow improvements, system testing, and operational enhancements.

Key objectives during this assignment

• Deliver a seamless, accurate Open Enrollment cycle.

• Improve documentation and reduce ticket volume.

• Strengthen vendor accountability and case resolution times.

• Enhance leave processing accuracy and coordination with payroll.

• Maintain clean audits and transparent reconciliations.

What makes you a strong fit

• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in U.S. benefits administration with direct ownership of leave programs.

• Strong expertise with Workday Benefits and HRIS/payroll integrations. This is a top priority for the role.

• Deep knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.

• Comfortable managing escalations and vendor relationships independently.

• Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support employees with clarity and empathy.

• Proven experience drafting or improving policies, workflows, and benefits materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys making an immediate impact, leading operations without heavy oversight, and helping shape a smoother employee experience.
