Director of Growth Marketing


Location: Playa Vista, CA (4 days/week in office)

Our client, a purpose-driven consumer brand in the beauty and wellness space, is seeking an experienced Director of Growth Marketing to lead Paid Social strategy and drive customer acquisition at scale. Represented exclusively by our recruiting team, this is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape strategy, oversee significant budgets, and manage a growing team in a fast-moving DTC environment.


The Opportunity

As Director of Growth Marketing, you will own performance marketing across social channels, ensuring innovative, data-driven campaigns deliver measurable growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners in Creative, Analytics, CRM, and Product to translate insights into strategy, optimize spend, and continually test new ideas. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments and is eager to push boundaries in digital acquisition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own Paid Social Strategy: Build, execute, and refine acquisition campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging channels to maximize ROAS and customer growth.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a performance marketing team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with creative, analytics, and product teams to align performance marketing with overall brand objectives.
  • Creative Direction: Guide the development and testing of campaign assets that resonate with target audiences.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish reporting frameworks, analyze results, and present insights to inform strategy.
  • Innovation: Identify and test new platforms, formats, and tactics to stay ahead of industry trends and uncover new growth opportunities.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in performance marketing with deep expertise in Paid Social and Search for direct-to-consumer eCommerce. Track record of managing and scaling large budgets successfully.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen with the ability to connect insights to strategy, balancing creative ideas with performance data.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communicator with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced organizations.
  • Passion: Excitement for digital innovation, new platforms, and purpose-driven consumer brands.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $165,000 – $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
