Project Manager, Workday Financials Implementation

Location Hybrid, 3 days on site in Irvine, CA

Own the US workstream for a Workday Financials rollout. Keep regional finance aligned with the global program, reduce noise for SMEs, and deliver on time.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary bridge between the US region and the central program
• Plan and run regional work for data migration and validation
• Partner on integrations design and configuration reviews
• Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect management
• Orchestrate cutover planning and day-of execution
• Drive hypercare support and close out issues quickly
• Maintain action logs, RAID, and concise leadership updates

What success looks like

• Regional plan baselined and tracked to milestones
• Weekly dashboards and status reports delivered consistently
• UAT and cutover readiness checklists completed on schedule
• Hypercare issue log owned with clear resolvers and dates

What you bring

• Proven project management experience in finance transformation or ERP deployments
• Strong understanding of Workday Financials and core finance processes
• Background in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with strong organization
• Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
• Based in or able to work from Irvine, CA on the stated hybrid schedule
