Workday Finance Integration Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Irvine, CA or New York, NY (must go onsite 2 times a month)
About the role
Help our client evolve and support Workday Financials and connected tools. You will turn business needs into tested, documented, and deployed changes that keep the platform reliable, secure, and easy to use.
What you will do
- Resolve Workday Finance issues across access, data, and functionality within SLAs
- Document fixes and root cause in ServiceNow and partner with system integrators when needed
- Translate feedback into clear requirements and solution designs aligned to the roadmap
- Build and test enhancements and integrations, coordinate UAT sign off, and release via change controls
- Prepare and validate upgrades and releases, publish release notes, and support user communications
- Maintain practical help docs and knowledge base content to enable self service
What you bring
- 5 plus years in systems analysis or administration with finance platforms
- 2 plus years hands on with Workday Financials and the Adaptive planning platform
- Strong experience with system design, data analysis, and integrations
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a collaborative approach across business and technology
- Understanding of finance platform security and cybersecurity best practices
Nice to have
- ServiceNow for case, change, and knowledge management
- Coordination with third party SIs and vendors, including SLA oversight
- Familiarity with structured UAT and enterprise change management
