Senior Director (HRIS) - HR Technology

Location: Remote / team will be based West Coast hours

Compensation: $225K–$250K base + bonus + equity

We’re partnering with a hyper-growth healthcare organization seeking a strategic HRIS leader to modernize and scale its people technology ecosystem. This role will own the HR systems roadmap, optimize existing infrastructure, and lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across HR technology.

The ideal leader is a strong change agent with deep expertise in Workday and a track record of building scalable HR tech environments in evolving organizations. This individual will help assess, implement, and integrate additional platforms across Talent, Total Rewards, Learning, and People Operations to support aggressive business growth.

What you’ll own:

  • Lead enterprise HR technology strategy, roadmap, and transformation initiatives
  • Optimize and expand Workday capabilities across HCM, reporting, integrations, and workflows
  • Evaluate and implement new HR technologies to improve employee experience and operational efficiency
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and scalable infrastructure across the HR function
  • Partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, and executive leadership on long-term systems strategy
  • Build governance, data integrity, reporting, and compliance frameworks across people systems
  • Lead change management and adoption for system enhancements and new platform rollouts

Ideal background:

  • 10+ years in HRIS / HR Technology leadership
  • Deep expertise in Workday (configuration, optimization, integrations, reporting)
  • Experience scaling HR tech in high-growth, multi-state, or regulated environments
  • Strong implementation experience across adjacent HR technologies (ATS, LMS, performance, compensation, analytics)
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at senior leadership and board level
  • Healthcare, payer, or highly regulated industry experience is a plus

Leveling: Sr. Director, or VP depending on scope, strategic depth, and enterprise transformation experience.
