Account Executive
An early-stage company building AI tools for the legal sector is seeking a Founding Account Executive to help launch and scale its go-to-market efforts.
In this role, you'll be responsible for building pipeline, managing both inbound and outbound deals, delivering product demonstrations, representing the business at industry events, and owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed deal.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys selling, cultivating relationships, raising a brand's profile, and helping define a sales function from the ground up at a growing legal technology venture.
What You'll Do
- Build new pipeline via outbound prospecting, referrals, event networking, partnerships, and social channels
- Own inbound and outbound deals across the entire cycle, from first touch to close
- Deliver engaging demos to law firms, insurance carriers, and other legal-sector stakeholders
- Develop and nurture lasting client relationships
- Serve as the company's representative at trade shows, networking functions, and professional gatherings
- Contribute to social content that establishes credibility, expands reach, and produces leads
- Monitor activity levels, pipeline health, conversion rates, and overall sales results
- Hit and surpass revenue targets
- Keep up with trends across the legal, insurance, AI, and legal technology markets
- Help sharpen sales messaging, processes, and overall go-to-market approach
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- 2–3 years in sales, legal technology, legal services, insurance, or an adjacent area
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- At ease presenting to lawyers, executives, and senior stakeholders
- Strong at building rapport and following through
- Well-organized, with a knack for managing a pipeline
- Skilled at using social platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to open doors and source opportunities
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales software
- Able to interpret financial figures, sales data, and client ROI
- A self-driven individual who thrives in a startup setting
