JOB SUMMARY
The Client Services Manager is a pivotal role responsible for fostering and strengthening client relationships. Serving as a strategic advisor to founders and hiring leaders, you will act as the bridge between client expectations and recruiting execution. This is a high-visibility role for an "over-communicative," proactive partner who can handle profile recalibrations while strategically identifying opportunities to expand our services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, maintaining a deep understanding of client business, culture, and hiring needs.
- Strategic Advisory: Lead regular client meetings and kickoff calls to gather an in-depth understanding of open positions and provide insights to improve hiring outcomes.
- Account Growth & Upselling: Identify and develop proposals for additional services and expanded search scopes.
- Recruiting Oversight: Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure candidate alignment and monitor search progress proactively.
- Profile Recalibration: Partner with clients to develop detailed job descriptions and recalibrate profiles based on market trends.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on account performance (time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction) to optimize service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Location: Strictly limited to Maryland (MD) to facilitate in-person collaboration and state registration requirements.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruiter-facing or client-facing role; Agency Recruitment background is strongly preferred due to the fast-paced nature of the work.
- Company Scale: Proven experience working with small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
COMPENSATION & FINANCIALS
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year.
- Bonus: $20,000 – $25,000 (Based on client retention, performance, and upselling).
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $95,000 – $105,000 (High potential for growth as the firm expands).
- Stipends:
- Phone: $50/month stipend for personal phone use or a company-provided cell phone.
- Health: $200/month stipend toward health insurance.

- Environment: 100% remote (daily operations).
- Equipment: Laptop and monitor provided by the company.
- Travel Requirements: * Local: ~1x/month for client visits or events in the D.C. Metro area.
- Non-Local: ~2x/year for client visits (travel paid for by the company).
- International: Potential for an annual trip to Bogotá, Colombia for team collaboration.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Phase 1: Interview with Lead Recruiter and assessment.
- Phase 2: Initial interview with the Senior Recruiting Manager.
- Phase 3: Strategic interview with the Founder & President.
