JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive new business growth within the reseller and VAR channel ecosystem.

This is a true full-cycle sales role focused on generating revenue, developing long-term channel relationships, and expanding business opportunities within the networking and data center infrastructure market.

The ideal candidate already understands the reseller/channel environment and can leverage existing industry relationships to generate traction quickly. This position is best suited for a self-directed, entrepreneurial salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional sales environment without heavy corporate structure or micromanagement.

The Sales Executive will work directly with ownership and internal operations, product, and quoting teams to support customers from prospecting through order fulfillment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Develop and grow relationships with VARs, resellers, brokers, and channel partners

·      Develop new business opportunities through industry relationships, outbound outreach, and channel networking

·      Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and quoting through PO receipt and ongoing account management

·      Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within the networking and infrastructure channel ecosystem

·      Collaborate closely with internal product, operations, and logistics teams to support customer needs

·      Drive revenue growth, gross profit, and repeat business activity

·      Maintain strong follow-through and responsiveness throughout the customer lifecycle

·      Utilize CRM and outreach platforms such as SalesLoft to manage activity and customer communication

·      Success in this role requires strong responsiveness, urgency, and customer follow-through.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience within networking hardware, infrastructure, or adjacent technology markets
  • Experience selling into VARs, resellers, brokers, or channel partners
  • Demonstrated success generating and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, transactional sales environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms
  • Comfortable working on-site in Irvine, CA

 

MUST HAVES

  • Existing relationships within the VAR, reseller, broker, or networking hardware ecosystem
  • Proven experience selling hardware or infrastructure products into the reseller channel
  • Demonstrated revenue generation and account growth success
  • Ability to independently open, manage, and grow accounts
  • Strong phone-based sales and relationship management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability and follow-through

 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with optical transceivers, DACs, AOCs, fiber/copper cabling, memory, or data center infrastructure products
  • Previous experience working within a smaller or mid-sized technology company
  • Familiarity with compatible or OEM-alternative technology products
  • Existing industry book of business or transferable customer relationships
  • College degree (preferred but not required)

 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

·      Base Salary: $95,000 – $115,000

·      On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000 – $200,000+

WORKING CONDITIONS

·      On-site role based in Irvine, California

·      Standard business hours with expectation for strong responsiveness and customer follow-through

·      Minimal to no travel required

·      Fast-paced, high-volume sales environment

·      Individual contributor role reporting directly to ownership
