
Sales Director (Player-Coach)
The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing manufacturer focused on custom-engineered components for industrial OEMs. This is a highly technical, project-based environment—not transactional sales.
They’re hiring a Sales Director to build and lead the commercial function. This is a hands-on, player-coach role with real ownership over new business, process, and future team structure.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business (OEM accounts, full-cycle sales)
- Sell complex, custom solutions to engineering stakeholders
- Build pipeline structure, forecasting, and CRM discipline
- Partner with engineering, operations, and marketing
- Help scale the commercial team over time
What They’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience
- Background in custom / technical / industrial sales
- Experience with long sales cycles (12+ months)
- Comfortable working with engineers
- Player-coach mindset, hands-on and entrepreneurial
Comp & Details
- $115K base + $165K–$190K OTE
- Strong benefits + 401(k) match
