Investor Relations Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

On behalf of our client, Talent Harbor is seeking a highly quantitative Investor Relations Analyst to join a lean, fast-paced corporate finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets, this role is a data-heavy analysis and financial storytelling position designed to bring critical analytical functions fully in-house.

This is an execution-heavy, internal support role (not investor-facing) focused on macro-informed asset analysis, peer tracking, and presentation development. The ideal candidate will serve as both the analytical engine (Excel modeling) and the master storyteller (PowerPoint presentation building) for the firm's public market communications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Investor Materials Prep: Support the end-to-end preparation of earnings presentations, investor decks, executive scripts, fact sheets, and predictive Q&A frameworks.
  • Consensus & Peer Analytics: Track and analyze sell-side consensus estimates, maintain analyst model summaries, and perform weekly competitor benchmarking and market recaps.
  • Data Tracking & Modeling: Maintain and update complex Excel database models tracking institutional investor activity, ownership concentrations, and stock trading dynamics.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with internal Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to harvest accurate corporate data and ensure flawless regulatory compliance.
  • Accountability Framework: Operate within a structured corporate management system (EOS/Traction), utilizing weekly scorecards and proactive problem-solving to meet measurable goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, or a highly quantitative corporate finance field.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Must possess the technical capability to manage, adjust, and construct complex financial trackers from scratch.
  • Deep interest in macroeconomics, public market mechanics, fixed income, or real estate finance.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a low-ego willingness to handle administrative workflow logistics alongside high-level modeling.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Foundational experience or familiarity utilizing a Bloomberg Terminal or FactSet.
  • Prior professional exposure to an EOS / Traction management framework.

COMPENSATION & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Base Salary: $160,000
  • Bonus Structure: ~25% target bonus based on KPIs and corporate performance.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$200,000 total compensation package.
  • Work Structure: On-site / Hybrid role requiring 90% in-office presence (4–5 days a week) in New York City.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  1. Initial Screen: Conducted by Talentharbor Recruiting Division.
  2. Mandatory Interview Prerequisite: Candidates will be required to thoroughly review public investor materials and accurately describe the client's core financial business model before advancing.
  3. Hiring Team Interviews: Multi-stage technical and cultural alignment interviews with the Head of Investor Relations and adjacent corporate stakeholders.
