JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a dynamic, experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of its residential HVAC division. The role is central to the success of the business and will directly impact operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and customer experience. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role that will serve as a partner to the Service Manager and play a pivotal part in building a stable foundation for future expansion across other home services verticals. This position is ideal for an experienced Service Titan power user with HVAC or home services experience, who is ready to take the next step into a high-impact leadership position, with a clear path to a General Manager role in the near future.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Oversee daily business operations and customer service functions
• Leverage ServiceTitan extensively for dispatching, invoicing, reporting, follow-ups, and team coordination
• Monitor open work orders, estimates, and unresolved items through follow-up reporting
• Ensure timely reconciliation of payments and job closures, address billing discrepancies
• Supervise and coach the in-house administrative team (CSR, dispatcher, etc.)
• Collaborate with the Service Manager to coordinate field service operations
• Participate in weekly cash flow and reporting meetings
• Manage price book updates, service agreement rollouts, and marketing support
• Support hiring, training, and staff development; help shape a positive and high-performing company culture
• Represent the company in meetings or networking events as needed
• Work closely with leadership on forecasting, vendor selection, and general business planning
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using ServiceTitan (strongly preferred)
• Experience in HVAC industry or similar residential home services (strongly preferred)
• Proven operational management experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented business
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and accountability mindset
• Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus

SALARY RANGE
-Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and performance
-Performance Bonus: 2.5% of annual company profit (estimated $5,000–$10,000 in year one)
-Total OTE: Up to $110,000 in the first year with strong growth potential over time
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Comfortable with flexible, early-start working hours (typically 7:30 AM–4:00 PM)
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in Annapolis, MD
