JOB DESCRIPTION
The Case Manager is a key individual contributor within the pre-litigation team and serves as the primary point of contact for clients from intake through demand. This role is highly client-facing and requires exceptional organization, empathy, accountability, and the ability to manage a high volume of auto accident personal injury cases in a structured, metrics-driven environment.
The Case Manager works closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure cases progress efficiently, clients feel supported and informed, and all firm processes and deadlines are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation phase of their case.
• Initiate client contact within the first 48 hours and maintain consistent, proactive communication.
• Conduct regular case reviews to ensure proper case progression and treatment adherence.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
• Request, review, and analyze medical records and medical bills.
• Track treatment, understand injuries, and identify medical or legal issues that require escalation.
• Draft and send letters of representation and demand letters.
• Negotiate settlements directly with insurance adjusters.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date case files in the firm’s case management system.
• Follow firm procedures, key performance indicators, and escalation guidelines.
• Coordinate tasks with support staff and ensure documentation is sent accurately and on time.
• Keep attorneys informed of case issues, risks, or client concerns.
• Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the handling of their case.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a pre-litigation Case Manager handling auto accident personal injury cases (required).
• Strong understanding of the personal injury and insurance claims process.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to follow established processes, meet deadlines, and work in a metrics-driven environment.
• Client-service mindset with a professional, empathetic, and reliable approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (Filevine is a plus).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or paralegal studies are a plus.
• Demonstrated employment stability (minimum two years per role preferred).
SALARY RANGE
Base salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• 100% on-site position based in Denver, Colorado.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday.
• Standard office schedules available (e.g., 7:00–4:00, 7:30–4:30, or 8:00–5:00), selected in advance and adhered to consistently.
