JOB DESCRIPTION

The Head of Hospitality & Stewardship is a foundational, senior leadership role designed for an elite relationship builder and high-level manager who will steward a family's relational ecosystem over a 10, 20, or 30+ year lifecycle. The core focus of our client is to help their clients build stronger human connection through the design and stewardship of a more meaningful life. Aimed at ultra-high-net-worth clients in the United States, they create and steward a life vision, managing the events, experiences, and home design that assure family legacy, as well as deeper and enduring connection with friends and business colleagues. Guided by this vision, this individual ensures that every interaction within the property moves beyond surface-level logistics. While standard wealth advisors steward financial capital, this individual stewards relational capital. This role transcends transactional hospitality execution; you are not a logistical coordinator or an assistant. You are a high-level manager, trusted confidant, experience curator, and life steward who will help clients design a life where they value relationships over possessions and meaning over status.

Our client is creating an entirely new professional discipline—Human Connection Design™—and building an enduring company. Through a formalized workflow of Discovery™, Design™, and Stewardship™, they help clients intentionally shape their homes, relationships, hospitality, traditions, and experiences so they can live richer, more meaningful lives. Because this position is 100% client-facing and deeply embedded within the inner lives of our owners, it is considered the most critical foundational seat in the company.

This individual will serve as both:

  • A Relational Capital Steward & Confidant: Operating as a high-level trusted peer and strategic advisor directly to the owner (founder, entrepreneur, or family leader). Rather than managing administrative tasks, you will oversee and cultivate the family's relational capital. Over time, you will become the essential keeper of their private aspirations, family dynamics, lifestyle preferences, and multi-generational traditions—consistently creating a space of absolute discretion and trust.
  • An Architect of Human Flourishing: Designing and managing the long-term relationship strategies, annual hospitality calendars, and deep experiential discovery frameworks that allow a family's extraordinary home to serve as a hub for lifelong memories.

We are seeking an exceptionally trustworthy professional of high character who naturally creates an environment of absolute psychological safety, uncovers a family's "why," and thrives in ambiguous, early-stage environments where deep human connection is the primary measure of success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Leadership, Management, & Accountability (LMA): Partner with the leadership team to shape the developmental doctrine, operational systems, and flagship outcomes of this entirely new field. Direct, evaluate, and manage future cross-functional teams and external specialists.
  • Relational Stewardship Strategy: Create, govern, and continuously scale the overarching Home Stewardship strategy and process, building unbreakable bonds with owners over decades.
  • Psychological Discovery & Profiling: Execute the multi-step proprietary process (Discovery™, Design™, and Stewardship™) to map out the long-term relationship goals and hospitality philosophies of elite homeowners.
  • Annual Experience Architecture: Oversee the creation and execution of annual hospitality calendars and meaningful life experiences, functioning as a high-level strategic producer and manager rather than an on-site errand runner.
  • Client Relationship Anchoring: Act as a secure, non-judgmental extension of the household's inner life, managing shifting emotional realities and high-pressure client dynamics under difficult circumstances with profound grace.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Institutional & Career Stability: Must demonstrate strong career tenure and a history of long-term commitment with previous employers, estates, or clients (as opposed to jumping frequently between seasonal contracts every 12–18 months). Our client is looking to build a multi-decade relationship with this leader.
  • High-Level Managerial & Operational Authority: Must have a proven track record of acting as a high-level manager rather than a supportive assistant. This includes direct experience building operational frameworks, writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), governing budgets, managing multi-property resource allocations, and leading diverse teams.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in luxury hospitality, luxury travel, private clubs, estate management, luxury events, family office hospitality, lifestyle management, or other ultra-high-touch client environments.
  • Rapid Trust & High Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional interpersonal warmth and communication skills, with a verified ability to build a deep, authentic baseline trust rapidly in high-stakes environments.
  • Living the Core Values: Must explicitly embody the company’s non-negotiable core values:
  • Be Humbly Confident: Possessing an elite, secure presence; matching technical expertise with extreme humility and curiosity.
  • Grow or Die: Hungry for personal and professional development; constantly adaptable and energized by ambiguity.
  • Help First & Do the Right Thing: Unyielding professional integrity; the absolute ability to consistently create psychological safety where clients feel never judged, sold, or exposed.
  • Do What You Say: Impeccable personal execution, follow-through, accountability, and reliability.
  • Identity-Level Alignment: Characterized by phrases like: "I have always been the person who brings people together," or "I naturally cultivate community and traditions."
