JOB DESCRIPTION
The Head of Hospitality & Stewardship is a foundational leadership role designed for an elite relationship builder who will steward a family's relational ecosystem over a 10, 20, or 30+ year lifecycle. While standard wealth advisors steward financial capital, this individual stewards relational capital. This role transcends traditional hospitality execution; you are not an event manager. You are a trusted confidant, experience curator, and life steward that will help clients build deeper relationships and more meaningful lives.
This individual will serve as both:
- A Relational Capital Steward & Confidant: Operating as a trusted peer and strategic advisor directly to the owner (founder, entrepreneur, or family leader). Rather than managing financial portfolios, you will oversee and cultivate the family's relational capital. Over time, you will become the essential keeper of their private aspirations, family dynamics, lifestyle preferences, and multi-generational traditions—consistently creating a space of absolute discretion and trust.
- An Architect of Human Flourishing: Designing the long-term strategies, annual hospitality calendars, and deep experiential discovery frameworks that allow a family's extraordinary home to serve as a hub for lifelong memories.
We are seeking an exceptionally trustworthy professional who naturally creates an environment of absolute discretion and trust, uncovers a family's "why," and thrives in non-corporate environments where deep human connection is the primary measure of success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-
Leadership, Management, & Accountability (LMA): Partner with the leadership team to shape the developmental doctrine, operational systems, and flagship outcomes of this entirely new field.
-
Relational Stewardship Strategy: Create and manage the overarching Home Stewardship strategy and process, building unbreakable bonds with owners over decades.
-
Psychological Discovery & Profiling: Execute the multi-step proprietary process (Explore ➔ Align ➔ Plan ➔ Design ➔ Bring to Life ➔ Steward) to map out the long-term relationship goals and hospitality philosophies of elite homeowners.
-
Annual Experience Architecture: Oversee the creation of annual hospitality calendars and meaningful life experiences, functioning as a high-level producer rather than an on-site logistical coordinator.
-
Client Relationship Anchoring: Act as a secure, non-judgmental extension of the household's inner life, managing shifting emotional realities under difficult circumstances with profound grace.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of leadership experience in luxury hospitality, luxury travel, private clubs, luxury events, family office hospitality, lifestyle management, or other ultra-high-touch client environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain multiple client relationships lasting 10+ years.
- Comfortable helping define strategy, systems, and processes within an early-stage startup environment.
- The 8-Trait DNA Stack: Must naturally possess: (1) Stewardship orientation, (2) Curiosity, (3) Empathy, (4) Social observation, (5) Trustworthiness (the elite ability to consistently create psychological safety where clients feel never judged, sold, or exposed), (6) Hospitality instinct, (7) Story orientation, and (8) Meaning orientation.
- Proven track record of building and sustaining deep, high-trust personal or professional relationships that span a decade or more.
- An identity-level behavioral alignment characterized by phrases like: "I have always been the person who brings people together," or "I naturally create community and traditions."
