JOB DESCRIPTION


The Account Executive is a critical growth role focused on generating and nurturing top-of-funnel opportunities for a founder-led operations consulting and professional services firm. This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects and referral sources to support consistent pipeline growth. The role will also support sales conversion activities and offers a clear growth path into strategic partnerships leadership as the business scales.

This position works closely with company leadership to help build a repeatable, scalable business development engine, while maintaining a high level of professionalism when engaging founders and C-suite executives.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source and engage new prospects through LinkedIn, outbound outreach, referrals, and relationship-building
  • Develop and manage referral-source relationships within financial services and professional services communities
  • Identify and qualify opportunities aligned with the firm’s ideal client profile
  • Maintain accurate and organized CRM records (GoHighLevel or similar), ensuring strong pipeline hygiene and reporting

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Conduct initial discovery and qualification conversations with prospective clients
  • Support proposal development and sales conversion activities in partnership with leadership
  • Track opportunities through the sales funnel and provide revenue forecasting insights
  • Follow up on warm leads and nurture relationships to drive long-term conversions

Relationship & Referral Management

  • Build and nurture referral partnerships through networking, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted communications
  • Maintain ongoing communication with referral partners and track referral performance in CRM systems
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and strategic alliances as the business grows

Reporting, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Provide regular sales and pipeline reporting and insights to leadership
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and documentation across tools such as GoHighLevel, Airtable, Asana, and Microsoft 365
  • Proactively recommend process improvements to increase lead flow, conversion rates, and operational efficiency


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or revenue-generating roles (3–7 years preferred)
  • Experience selling to or within financial services, wealth management, or professional services environments
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and manage a sales pipeline
  • Strong CRM proficiency (GoHighLevel or comparable platforms required)
  • Executive presence and polished communication skills for engaging founders and C-suite leaders
  • High typing speed (50+ WPM) and strong written communication skills
  • Proactive, accountable mindset with the ability to manage up and implement ideas independently
  • Comfort operating in a small, fast-paced, remote, founder-led environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience working within a professional services or consulting firm
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar operating frameworks
  • Experience helping scale client service teams and build repeatable sales processes


EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, marketing, finance, or related field), or equivalent professional experience.


COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • Base Salary: $65,000 USD
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $105,000 –$125,000 USD
  • Commission Plan: Tiered structure rewarding meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and closed deals
  • Employment Type: Full-time, W-2


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Fully remote role (U.S.-based candidates)
  • East Coast working hours preferred (9am–5pm ET)
  • Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) for team meetings or events
