We are working toward becoming a Financial Services Provider (FSP) by 2026 and have already begun this process.
The Opportunity
The Regional Sales Recruiter is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding independent agents, ISOs, and merchant partners within the assigned region. The role requires strong industry knowledge, effective relationship-building skills, and the ability to succeed in a performance-driven environment. Growth depends on expanding the ISO and agent channel, which is the company’s long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
· Source, recruit, and sign independent sales agents and ISO partners within the assigned region.
· Conduct virtual and in-person meetings to present company programs, agent compensation plans, and partnership opportunities.
· Guide new partners through the onboarding and certification process.
Merchant Acquisition Support
· Collaborate with Agents/ISOs to drive merchant acquisition and retention.
· Provide product knowledge, sales tools, and marketing support to help partners grow their portfolios.
Territory Development
· Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan for the region.
· Attend trade shows, networking events, and local business functions to promote company programs.
· Maintain a strong pipeline of potential recruits and merchant leads.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Initiatives
· Partner with internal teams—including marketing, sales operations, training, and product—to align recruitment efforts with company objectives.
· Provide regional insights and feedback to help shape campaigns, promotions, and business strategies.
· Support initiatives that enhance brand awareness, strengthen company reputation, and drive overall business growth.
· Collaborate on content and events that showcase the company’s value proposition to prospective partners and merchants.
Relationship Management
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with ISOs, Agents, and key merchant accounts.
· Serve as the main point of contact for partner inquiries, escalations, and support.
· Monitor partner performance and collaborate with leadership to drive engagement and productivity.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
What We’re Looking For:
· 5+ years of experience in payment processing, merchant services industry with a registered ISO or Full-Service Provider.
· Proven track record of recruiting and developing sales partners or agents (preferred: ISO/Agent channel experience).
· Strong understanding of payment processing products (POS, terminals, gateways, integrated payments, etc.).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
· Ability to travel within the assigned region (20–30% travel expected).
· Available for bi-weekly sales meetings
· History of maintaining a pipeline and history of performance management
Nice to Have:
· Experience with CRM systems and partner management tools.
· Knowledge of current trends in merchant acquiring and electronic payments.
· Network of existing ISO/Agent or merchant relationships (a strong plus).
