The Company and Opportunity

We are hiring a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Executive to join a high-integrity, fast-growing team in the merchant services space. This is a full-cycle, senior-level sales role where you'll have the autonomy and support to build your own verticals, close deals, and support merchant onboarding—with the full backing of a collaborative, no-drama team and best-in-class risk management.

This is not a traditional ISO or processor sales role. Here, sales works closely with risk, underwriting, and leadership from day one to create seamless, high-trust relationships with merchants. We prioritize quality over quantity, building long-term partnerships (forever clients) in industries such as eCommerce, cash discount/dual pricing, firearms, nutraceuticals, coaching, travel, collection agencies, property management, and more (excluding MLM and adult).

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, and onboarding.
  • Develop your own sales strategies and verticals—no cookie-cutter playbook here.
  • Identify and target mid-sized merchants, defined as companies with $5k to $25k in monthly revenue and processing $100k to $500k+ in monthly volume
  • Collaborate daily with internal teams including risk, underwriting, and executive leadership.
  • Promote internal experts (like risk managers) early in sales conversations to build merchant trust.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows (travel up to 50%).

Qualifications, skills, and experience

A self-starter who’s motivated to build their own book of business, someone who combines strategic thinking with real hustle, and brings maturity, professionalism, and integrity to every interaction.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in merchant services, payment processing, fintech, or a similar B2B sales environment.
  • Proven ability to sell to mid-to-mid-large merchants. ($5k to $25k in monthly revenue and processing $100k to $500k+ in monthly volume)
  • Full-cycle sales experience from lead generation to onboarding.
  • Solid understanding of risk and underwriting in merchant acquiring.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and self-manage pipeline and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Existing book of business in verticals like eCommerce, cash discount/dual pricing, firearms, nutraceuticals, coaching, travel, collection agencies, property management, etc.
  • Familiarity with customer service practices and building long-term merchant relationships.
  • Creative approach to prospecting and solution-building in high-risk or niche verticals.
