The Opportunity
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. You’ll work closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team to ensure the integrity of financial data and support the company’s financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities
· Support the month-end and quarter-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
· Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate coding of transactions.
· Perform bank and account reconciliations.
· Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
· Help prepare internal financial reports and support external reporting requirements.
· Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries.
· Maintain documentation for accounting procedures and internal controls.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.
· Provide ad hoc support and analysis as needed by the Controller and finance leadership.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
· 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
· Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and basic internal controls.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· A collaborative mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
Additional Details
· This is a full-time, W2 role based in the U.S.
· Visa sponsorship is not available.
· Candidates must be local to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. Relocation is not an option.
· 100% onsite work is required.
