The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch an accounting career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
In this role, you will assist with a variety of accounting tasks including data entry, reconciliation, and supporting the month-end close. You will work directly with the Controller and other team members to learn and grow in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities
· Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry and transaction processing.
· Help with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
· Support bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
· Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions.
· Contribute to audit preparation by organizing supporting documentation.
· Help maintain internal control procedures and accounting documentation.
· Provide administrative and analytical support to the Controller and accounting team.
· Participate in team projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or in final year of completing degree).
· 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships, part-time roles, or school projects count!).
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables).
· Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software – a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
· A positive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges.
Additional Details
· This is a full-time, W2 role based in the U.S.
· Visa sponsorship is not available.
· Candidates must be local to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. Relocation is not an option.
· 100% onsite work is required.
