Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable finance systems, processes, and KPIs to support rapid growth.
- Lead all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the leadership team and investors.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and business modelling.
- Oversee cash flow management, including short- and medium-term forecasting.
- Support new site development by ensuring robust control of capital expenditure and cash management.
- Lead accounting, financial control, FP&A, and commercial finance functions.
- Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Partner with site managers to deliver insight and data that drive performance and profitability.
- Oversee procurement and negotiation for key operational spend categories (e.g. utilities, insurance).
- Support leadership on pricing strategy, margin improvement, and operational efficiencies.
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-term forecasting processes.
- Build, mentor, and develop a growing finance team.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience gained within a high-growth, multi-site organisation—ideally in the leisure, hospitality, or consumer sectors.
- Proven experience in scaling a business, implementing robust financial processes, and driving commercial performance.
- Exposure to private equity or investor-backed environments would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership, sound judgement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- A genuine interest in sport, health, or wellness would be a plus.
Location: London (hybrid working available)
