Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable finance systems, processes, and KPIs to support rapid growth.
  • Lead all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting.
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the leadership team and investors.
  • Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and business modelling.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including short- and medium-term forecasting.
  • Support new site development by ensuring robust control of capital expenditure and cash management.
  • Lead accounting, financial control, FP&A, and commercial finance functions.
  • Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Partner with site managers to deliver insight and data that drive performance and profitability.
  • Oversee procurement and negotiation for key operational spend categories (e.g. utilities, insurance).
  • Support leadership on pricing strategy, margin improvement, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and long-term forecasting processes.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a growing finance team.


About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience gained within a high-growth, multi-site organisation—ideally in the leisure, hospitality, or consumer sectors.
  • Proven experience in scaling a business, implementing robust financial processes, and driving commercial performance.
  • Exposure to private equity or investor-backed environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, sound judgement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • A genuine interest in sport, health, or wellness would be a plus.


Location: London (hybrid working available)
