We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established organization within the elevator industry, for a driven Account Manager to support service and maintenance sales across Downtown Toronto and the GTA.
This role is focused on generating new business, expanding existing service accounts, and building long-term relationships with property managers, building owners, and facility operators. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in the field, conducting site visits, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.This is a backfill opportunity offering a base salary of $75,000–$90,000, along with a competitive commission structure and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Meet monthly sales targets by actively pursuing new contracts and expanding existing accounts
- Prepare job proposals, including scope of work and cost estimates
- Present service solutions to prospective clients
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
- Visit job sites to review current work and assess potential projects
- Complete required documentation following job completion
- Address and resolve customer concerns as needed
- Follow up on outstanding accounts when required and assist with payment arrangements
- Attend regional meetings and training sessions, including occasional travel
- Complete activity and performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
- Drive repair sales and grow the service portfolio
- Work with property owners and facility managers to secure maintenance agreements, renewals, and recapture non-OEM units
- Collaborate with Service Operations to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience (service or technical sales preferred)
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet targets
- Confident negotiator with a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with internal teams
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel throughout Downtown Toronto, the GTA, and surrounding areas as needed
