The National Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key national accounts while supporting the company’s overall sales objectives. This role involves identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to support sales initiatives, provide market insights, and maintain long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to support the growth of national accounts.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen partnerships within assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with large and strategic customers.
  • Monitor account performance and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for national clients and ensure a high standard of service.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to support account objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and planning meetings with customers.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitive activity within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Provide relevant customer and market insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Occasional provincial or interprovincial travel may be required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing regional, national, or key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing strategic plans to support account growth and profitability.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and other sales tools used to manage client relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and forecasting practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the networking, network systems, security camera, or smart home technology industry is considered an asset.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
