CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong programming skills to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Etobicoke. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can independently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC lathes and milling machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Adjust CNC machines and production tooling as required
• Program 5-axis CNC machines (Mastercam preferred)
• Machine and assemble parts to tight tolerances
• Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments
• Inspect finished parts and report any deviations from specifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
• Strong understanding of machine setup and machining principles
• CNC programming experience (Mastercam preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
