Fabrication Support Specialist

Are you looking to build a career in high-end manufacturing? We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Fabrication Support Specialist to join our growing team in Chatham-Kent, ON.

This is an entry-point role with growth opportunities. We don't just want a pair of hands; we are looking for the next generation of Machinists, Welders, and Assemblers. If you have a strong work ethic and want to see how heavy equipment is built from the ground up, we want to meet you.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Career Launchpad: This is a "Cross-Skill" facility. We provide immediate opportunities to train on machine operation (Benders, Rollers, Mills), Assembly, or even Welding.
  • Premium Environment: Work in a well-kept, and organized shop where safety and accountability are the top priorities.
  • Consistent Schedule: Early starts and early finishes. Get your 44 hours in and enjoy your Friday afternoon and full weekends.
  • Strong Benefits: You are part of a facility that invests in your future with direct retirement funding and performance-based bonuses.

The Details:

  • Compensation: $24.00/hour -- $35/hour as you master new skills.
  • Incentives: Performance-based production bonuses every quarter.
  • Retirement: Exceptional company-funded retirement program (Direct monthly contributions, no personal match required).
  • Shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Material Flow: Managing the off-loading and palletizing of sheet metal from precision laser and plasma cutting tables.
  • Shop Support: Assisting with material handling for blast and powder-paint lines.
  • Organization: Ensuring the facility remains a "gold standard" shop for cleanliness and flow.
  • Up-skilling: Taking the initiative to learn the operation of specialized fabrication machinery.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Physically Fit: You are comfortable with manual lifting and the "hand-bombing" of parts in a medium-paced environment.
  • Reliable: You show up on time and take pride in a job well done.
  • Ambition: You have a genuine interest in moving into more specialized trades like Machining or Welding.
  • Local Focus: You are looking for a stable, long-term role in the Chatham-Kent area.
