310T Apprentice Truck Mechanic

A growing industrial and transportation services organization is seeking a Registered 310T Apprentice Truck Technician to join its Operations and Maintenance team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career within a stable and safety-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced technicians supporting the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers while receiving valuable on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on fleet equipment
  • Support vehicle inspections and compliance with transportation and safety regulations
  • Assist with troubleshooting diesel engines, transmissions, braking, and emissions systems
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participate in emergency breakdown and after-hours repair support as required
  • Collaborate with licensed technicians and operations staff to support fleet reliability and uptime


Qualifications

  • Registered Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Apprentice
  • Previous exposure to diesel engines or heavy-duty equipment considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals and repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Reliable with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
