We are seeking a Move / Activation Project Manager to support large-scale healthcare construction projects. This role is responsible for leading the transition from construction completion to full operational readiness—ensuring facilities are fully functional, compliant, and ready for patient care on day one.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of move planning and facility activation for healthcare projects
- Coordinate relocation of clinical staff, equipment, and operations into new facilities
- Oversee FF&E and medical equipment procurement, delivery, and installation
- Collaborate with construction teams, hospital staff, vendors, IT, and facilities teams
- Develop and manage move schedules, phasing plans, and logistics strategies
- Ensure all building systems and clinical spaces are tested, commissioned, and operational
- Support training, documentation, and handoff to clinical and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and operational standards
- Identify and mitigate risks related to occupancy and patient care readiness
- Assist with punch list coordination and final closeout
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, move management, or facility activation
- B.S. in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or related field preferred with 5+ years of experience in related industry.
- Must have healthcare move/activation experience
- Understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and activation processes
- Experience with medical equipment planning and coordination is a plus
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
