Job Title: Hybrid Account Manager

Location: Waterloo, ON (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

This is a true hybrid Account Manager role, combining client growth, business development, and full-cycle recruitment. You will take ownership of expanding existing accounts, building deeper relationships within client organizations, and delivering top-tier talent through proactive headhunting.

With a wide-open territory across Canada, this role offers the autonomy and opportunity to build a strong, national presence.

Key Responsibilities

Client Development & Account Growth

  • Grow and expand existing client relationships across multiple industries
  • Develop new hiring manager contacts within current accounts
  • Identify opportunities to increase service lines (temp, perm, and contract)
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights and hiring strategies

Business Development

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities across Canada
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline within an open territory
  • Promote full-service staffing solutions including temporary, permanent, and contract placements

Recruitment & Headhunting

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake to placement
  • Source and engage high-calibre candidates through proactive headhunting
  • Build strong talent pipelines within niche verticals
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with a collaborative and supportive team
  • Share leads, insights, and best practices
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in staffing, recruitment, or executive search
  • Strong track record of growing client accounts and expanding relationships within organizations
  • Demonstrated success in headhunting and candidate delivery
  • Experience recruiting within technical or professional sectors (biotech, engineering, manufacturing, construction, accounting & finance preferred)
  • Ability to manage both sales and recruitment functions effectively
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, open-territory environment
