We’ve partnered with a well-established, employee-owned commercial contractor in Tempe, AZ, that is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from planning through completion
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and milestones aligned with client and company goals
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth execution
- Lead and mentor internal teams and subcontractors to drive performance and accountability
- Prepare conceptual estimates and scopes of work, including projects without full construction documents
- Negotiate subcontract agreements, procure materials, and manage overall project financials
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety and quality compliance
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, property managers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
- Utilize project management systems to track progress, costs, and reporting
Qualifications

Experience: 5–10 years of commercial construction project management experience with a strong focus on electrical systems

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (not required)

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and construction PM tools (MS Project, Bluebeam); CMiC experience a plus

Certifications: OSHA 30 preferred; PMP or CEM certifications are a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously
