Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the successful planning, execution, and closeout of new ground-up retail builds and other ICI developments. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, the Project Coordinator will play an integral role in document control, scheduling, procurement coordination, subcontractor communication, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the coordination and administration of new builds and renovations within the ICI sector.
- Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, meeting minutes, and closeout packages.
- Coordinate communication between site teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Support procurement activities including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking material deliveries.
- Help develop and update project schedules, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
- Attend project meetings and provide follow-up on action items, deadlines, and outstanding issues.
- Ensure all documentation is current, organized, and compliant with internal processes and project requirements.
- Assist with project closeout, deficiency tracking, occupancy documentation, and handover processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in ICI or commercial construction project coordination (retail ground-up experience considered a strong asset).
- A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and scheduling practices.
- Proficiency with project management software (such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to interface effectively with contractors, clients, consultants, and internal staff.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience and project background.
