Job Title: Construction Manager-Large Loss

Location: GTA

Pay Range: $65k-$80k

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

 

A well-established and growing restoration and construction organization is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to build a long-term career in the property damage restoration and reconstruction industry, supporting residential and commercial clients following damage caused by water, fire, and severe weather events.

This position provides technical training, industry certifications, and career advancement opportunities while working alongside a team of experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality service when clients need it most. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping restore homes and businesses to normal following unexpected damage.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Coordinate and oversee residential construction and restoration projects from start to completion

·      Hire, organize, and supervise subcontractors and trades while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (including WSIB documentation)

·      Create and issue work orders and supporting purchase orders for assigned projects

·      Review subcontractor invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures

·      Utilize project management software to maintain clear communication with project stakeholders

·      Ensure strong customer service by clearly aligning expectations with clients before project work begins

·      Manage projects to ensure profitability targets and timelines are met

·      Maintain organized, safe, and compliant job sites

 

Qualifications

·      Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction, ideally with supervisory or project leadership experience

·      Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades on active projects

·      Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

·      Commitment to professional development and industry-related training or certifications

·      Customer-service oriented with the ability to manage client expectations effectively

·      Safety-focused mindset

·      Valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license

·      Ability to pass a criminal background check
