Position Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on Marketing Director to lead marketing strategy and execution across a growing multi-location organization.


This position will oversee digital marketing, brand development, customer acquisition and retention, local-market initiatives, promotions, events, content, vendor relationships, reporting, and day-to-day marketing operations.


The Marketing Director will work closely with the VP of Marketing, executive leadership, and operational teams to ensure marketing initiatives support customer growth, revenue objectives, and continued business expansion.


This is not a strategy-only position. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between high-level planning and hands-on execution while helping build scalable marketing processes for a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities


Marketing Strategy & Brand

  • Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with company growth and business objectives.
  • Build brand awareness through effective use of multiple marketing channels.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and customer experience.
  • Develop written and visual content supporting customer engagement, company culture, and business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and channel performance.


Digital Marketing & Content

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, email campaigns, website content, online advertising, and customer reviews.
  • Develop, schedule, and monitor social media content and campaigns.
  • Work with internal and external partners to improve website performance and the online customer experience.
  • Track customer engagement and digital campaign performance.
  • Support internal communication and employee-engagement initiatives as required.


Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Develop integrated campaigns designed to increase customer acquisition, retention, repeat business, and traffic.
  • Plan and manage seasonal and promotional marketing initiatives.
  • Support customer lifecycle, loyalty, and retention initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen ongoing customer engagement.


Local & Multi-Location Marketing

  • Lead local marketing initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Partner with operational and regional leadership on local-market opportunities.
  • Support marketing activities associated with new locations and market expansion.
  • Coordinate community partnerships, sponsorships, local events, grassroots initiatives, and company events.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are consistently executed at the local level.


Analytics, Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage the marketing budget and monitor spending against business objectives.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards covering customer growth, campaign performance, engagement, and ROI.
  • Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage relationships and performance across agencies, vendors, media partners, and other external partners.
  • Coordinate marketing contracts and vendor agreements.
  • Present marketing results, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and regional leadership.
  • Support accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within marketing.
  • Help develop scalable marketing systems and processes as the organization grows.
  • Attend company-directed meetings, events, and training as required.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, brand marketing, or integrated marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, social media, customer engagement, and brand management.
  • Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, vendors, agency relationships, or media partners preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-location retail, consumer-services, or similarly distributed operating environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, or local-market marketing initiatives.
  • Experience supporting business growth, expansion, or new-location initiatives is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in Anaheim, California, with periodic travel to operating locations, community events, vendor meetings, and regional markets.
