Our client is a leading general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-profile commercial and institutional projects. They are seeking a Construction Estimator for their Calgary Office, You understand that building projects and building relationships go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare full cost estimates for commercial projects, All phases from concept to tender
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and construction techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating for general contractor experience 
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Experience working with stipulated sum and construction management project delivery methods is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working on Calgary projects is considered a strong asset.
