Electrician (309A Construction/ Maintenance)

Location: Greater Sudbury Area

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40–60 per week

Pay Rate: $44-$45/ hour + OT + Per diem

We’re a growing team of skilled trades professionals delivering installation, maintenance, and control wiring services for commercial and industrial doors, dock levelers, and gate automation systems. Our projects span across Ontario and Western Canada, including challenging and rewarding underground environments.

We’re looking for a motivated 309A Licensed Electrician ready to expand their skills, work on unique projects, and grow with a company that values development, safety, and team success.

 

No underground experience? No problem.

We provide full site safety and underground certifications to help you build a strong, well-rounded background.

 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and service overhead door motors, operators, and control systems
  • Coordinate daily with service and install dispatch
  • Lead or assist crews on commercial and industrial job sites
  • Work independently and represent the company with professionalism
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality
  • Be open to occasional travel (approx. 20%) for Western Canada and underground projects


All necessary site-specific training is provided.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 309A Electrician license or 4th year apprentice
  • 2+ years of electrical experience (construction or maintenance)
  • Mechanically inclined and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude with strong team and communication skills
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, and working in dynamic environments
  • Committed to safety and high workmanship standards
