We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver mission critical construction projects from pursuit through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery including business development, preconstruction, execution, and warranty. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage teams, drive project success, and build lasting client relationships, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Client Relations

  • Lead marketing and business development efforts for assigned opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Develop and execute project pursuit strategies, including proposals and interview preparation


Project Management

  • Oversee one large project or multiple small-to-medium projects
  • Lead bid and budgeting processes, including document review, staffing, and bid day execution
  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout and warranty
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, labor, and safety performance
  • Coordinate preconstruction, estimating, and procurement efforts
  • Ensure projects meet or exceed profitability, schedule, quality, and safety goals
  • Review and approve change orders, contracts, and subcontract agreements
  • Oversee construction scheduling and monthly financial projections
  • Conduct project audits and peer reviews


Safety Leadership

  • Partner with field leadership to implement project-specific safety programs
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all phases
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and KPIs
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and support incident investigations


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams
  • Support workforce planning and team assignments
  • Resolve project-related personnel and labor issues
  • Contribute to internal initiatives, committees, and leadership efforts
  • Uphold and promote company values and culture


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10–15 years of construction industry experience (mission critical required)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred

  • OSHA 10 certification
  • CPR/First Aid certification
