A Third Party Logistics provider located in Burlington is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This is a collaborative team environment, all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
• Source carriers
• Cultivate strong relationships with key customers
• Ensure all emails are answered promptly.
• After hours’ rotation to assist with resolving issues
• Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
• Understand and utilize RMIS to its full potential
• Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills a must
• Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers
• Follow up with customers for additional lanes

Experience and skills

• 2+ years of logistics coordination experience in logistics, cross-border and interstate logistics
• Knowledge of Load link, RMIS, UFOS, PC miler, Trucker Tool
• Preferred education in DCS/DEC
