310J Trailer Mechanic / 310T Truck & Coach Technician

Location: Oshawa, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Day Shift: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

Compensation: $30–$50 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed 310J Trailer Mechanic or 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join a busy manufacturing and service environment focused on commercial trailers and heavy equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trailers and related systems to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on new and used commercial trailers
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and complete necessary repairs efficiently
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
• Maintain accurate service documentation

Qualifications

• Valid 310J Trailer Mechanic or 310T Truck & Coach Technician license (required)
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with trucks and/or trailers
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Welding experience is considered a strong asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and professional communication skills
