Branch Manager, Sales and Operations

In this role, you won't just oversee a branch; you'll own it. You'll build the relationships that drive revenue, develop the team that delivers on your service promise, and have the freedom to lead with the confidence of a well-established organization behind you.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead & Develop Your Team

•    Recruit, coach, and develop a motivated, customer-focused team

•    Foster a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and professional growth

•    Provide mentorship to trainees and support career development at all levels

•    Uphold a strong ethical standard in every interaction and decision

Drive Sales & Financial Performance

•    Build new customer relationships and deepen loyalty with existing accounts

•    Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to maximize branch profitability

•    Identify sales and margin opportunities and direct your team accordingly

•    Track key performance metrics and communicate their impact on profit-sharing outcomes

•    Own the annual forecast process for your branch

Manage Branch Operations

•    Oversee day-to-day branch operations including inventory, fleet, and facilities

•    Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policy

•    Conduct regular workplace inspections and champion a safety-first culture

•    Utilize business systems to manage reporting, employee records, and operations


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You bring a strong mix of leadership, commercial instincts, and trade industry knowledge. Specifically, you have:


✔ University degree or equivalent experience

✔ 5+ years of management experience

✔ 5+ years in Building Materials, HVAC or Plumbing wholesale

✔ Proven sales and business development track record

✔ Budgeting & financial reporting skills

✔ Change management experience

✔ Conflict resolution & problem-solving ability

✔ Knowledge of OH&S standards

✔ Valid Ontario Driver's License

✔ Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset

•    Competitive base salary: $60,000 – $75,000 + uncapped profit - sharing
