The Role

The Part-Time Product Manager will play a key role in shaping product direction and ensuring that development priorities align with user needs and business objectives. This is an ownership-driven position where you will balance strategy, customer insight, and technical feasibility to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product roadmap, balancing customer feedback, business goals, and technical constraints

• Translate support insights, usage data, and user feedback into clear product priorities

• Develop detailed product specifications and requirements for new features and enhancements

• Partner closely with engineering to define scope, clarify requirements, and remove roadblocks

• Conduct user interviews and research to better understand customer workflows and needs

• Monitor competitors and the broader remote access and productivity landscape

• Define and track key product metrics to measure success and inform decisions

Ideal Background

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably within consumer or prosumer software

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment

• Technically fluent enough to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

• Interest in remote work tools, productivity platforms, or networking technologies

• Experience with desktop and mobile operating systems is considered an asset

• Fully remote

• Approximately 20-24 hours per week

• Due to client coverage requirements, the successful candidate must be available to work within Eastern Standard Time business hours to ensure consistent support and collaboration

• Fixed monthly compensation based on experience
