Open Position - Logistics Coordinator

Salary: $55-65,000 (depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

Responsibilities

• Daily management and coordination of ocean import and export shipments
• Partner with customers, vendors, and internal groups to build solid working relationships.
• Work with worldwide ocean shipments, including all geographies and multiple customers globally.
• Provide excellence in customer service and a first place of contact for client inquiries, concerns and complaints. Special attention to key assigned accounts.
• Coordinate shipments, provide information and alerts for air export customers and support the sales department in negotiating rates and quotes for services.

Qualifications

• 5 years of freight forwarding industry experience
• Experience with all modes of transportation 
• Well versed in day to day ocean imports and exports
• Knowledge of air freight would be an asset
• Cargowise knowledge is preferred
• CIFFA certified
