Construction Manager | Residential Restoration & Repair | Hamilton, ON | $65,000–$80,000


We’re currently working with a well-established organization in the construction and restoration sector that is looking to add a Construction Manager to support residential repair and large-loss projects in the Hamilton area.


This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for coordinating and overseeing restoration and repair projects from start to finish, working closely with subcontractors, internal teams, and homeowners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and supervise sub-trades across multiple restoration and repair projects
  • Oversee project execution from initial scope through to completion
  • Issue work orders and support purchase order processes
  • Monitor job progress, timelines, and quality of work
  • Ensure accurate documentation and project tracking
  • Review subcontractor invoicing for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and support project closeout
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain strong homeowner relationships
  • Support profitability by managing job costs and outcomes
  • Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction, preferably within restoration or insurance-related projects
  • Experience coordinating trades or supervising job sites
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and client-facing abilities
  • Safety-focused with attention to detail
  • IICRC certification is considered a strong asset
  • Valid G driver’s license and ability to travel locally
  • Clear criminal background check
