Job Requisition: Estimator – Print & Production

Location: Tinton Falls, NJ

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility for occasional overtime)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 annually, based on experience

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join a dynamic team in the commercial print and packaging industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop accurate and cost-effective estimates by determining the most efficient manufacturing methods, while considering plant production capacity and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·       Analyze customer specifications and clarify project details with Sales and Customer Service

·       Engineer estimates based on time, cost, materials, and labor

·       Recommend the most economical production methods

·       Revise estimates as project specifications change

·       Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate and timely quotes

·       Maintain knowledge of materials and suggest cost-saving alternatives

·       Ensure all estimates meet quality and compliance standards

Requirements

·       Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

·       Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in a commercial print or manufacturing environment

·       Familiarity with offset, digital, and wide-format printing processes

·       Strong understanding of production equipment, materials, and labor costing

·       Experience with estimating software (Pace MIS or similar preferred)

·       Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
