A well-established and steadily growing Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) in Brooklyn is seeking dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to join their expanding therapy team. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering comprehensive benefits, strong support, and long-term growth.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes. You will help patients improve independence, daily functional abilities, safety, and overall quality of life.
You will be assigned to one borough only (Brooklyn, Bronx, or Queens), depending on your preference.
No cross-borough travel is required.
Mileage reimbursement is provided for all home visits.
We welcome new graduates and experienced OTAs interested in home care. Training and support are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide home-based therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, safety, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and activity programs
- Document visits accurately and timely in the agency’s EMR
- Communicate effectively with supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
- Manage caseload and schedule within your assigned borough

Qualifications
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
