Intake Director

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Intake Director to lead and elevate our Intake Department. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments, values strong systems, and genuinely cares about people—both patients and team members.

As Intake Director, you’ll oversee referral workflows, guide and develop a dedicated intake team, and play a critical role in driving admissions, compliance, and referral relationships. You’ll be trusted to own processes, solve problems, and continuously improve how care begins.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing intake team
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
• Oversee daily intake operations, workflows, and documentation
• Ensure all referrals are accurately entered, tracked, followed up, and resolved
• Handle complex or sensitive referrals and escalated calls with confidence
• Monitor admissions, conversions, and lost cases; identify trends and opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with referral sources and contract representatives
• Collaborate closely with Business Development and other department leaders
• Drive continuous improvement through systems, reporting, and process enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare intake, admissions, or operations
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working with data, reports, and performance metrics
• Ability to balance people leadership with operational rigor
• A hands-on, proactive leader who takes ownership and follows through
