AI Software Engineer (Healthcare Data & Platforms)

We are a growing nursing home organization looking for an AI Software Engineer with experience building internal AI-driven platforms. This role works cross-functionally with operations and finance to centralize and unify organizational data.

This is an opportunity to design and build systems that bring large-scale healthcare data into one centralized environment.

About the Role

You will work directly with operations, finance, and analytics leadership to architect and build a centralized AI platform that integrates multiple data sources into one system. The focus is on building practical, scalable tools that unify data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI-driven platforms to centralize organizational data
  • Integrate data from multiple systems into a unified environment
  • Develop scalable, cloud-based solutions
  • Apply AI tools and frameworks to automate workflows
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and finance to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Continuously improve system performance and scalability

Technical Requirements (Must-Have Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data systems, or platform development
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience working with APIs and system integrations
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs / AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Codex, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with data pipelines / ETL processes
  • Experience building or contributing to internal tools or platforms

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with LangChain, vector databases, or AI orchestration tools
  • Experience working in healthcare or other data-heavy environments (appreciated but not required)
