Job Title:                Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant

Location:                 Downtown, NYC

Salary:                      60k – 65k

Stable NYC based local Bank seeks an Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant

Responsibilities:

·        Ensure loan transactions are recorded accurately and timely

·        Work with portfolio mortgages and investor loan portfolios.

·        Reconciling loan balances to the general ledger

·        Provide support for both an internal and external audit

·        Prioritize multiple deadlines, reconciliations, and exceptions to resolve on a timely basis.

·        Customer Service

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

·        Knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements.

·        Experience with Loan Servicing Accounting a plus

·        Minimum 1 to 2 years of financial services industry experience

·        Strong customer service orientation

·        Proven ability in team building and employee development skills,
