Responsibilities and Duties
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities through strategic inbound and outbound initiatives, leveraging advanced prospecting techniques.
- Develop and nurture high-value relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective healthcare clients to accelerate sales cycles.
- Collaborate closely with senior sales and marketing leadership to craft and implement data-driven sales strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Consistently track, analyze, and report detailed sales metrics, KPIs, and market insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the company as a thought leader at high-profile industry events and conferences, actively networking to enhance brand visibility and establish new business relationships.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales development team members, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
- Demonstrated success in senior-level sales development roles, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets within the healthcare industry.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, capable of driving team success and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Highly strategic thinker with advanced organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in CRM software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with sales enablement tools and data analytics platforms.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare market, including regulatory considerations, trends, and key challenges, to tailor sales strategies effectively.
Education / Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales development or a similar role.
